As our ADA Accommodations Specialist, you will manage a heavy caseload of ADA accommodation inquiries and calls, serving as the subject matter expert responsible for the end-to-end accommodation process. You will establish trusted relationships with facility leadership, HR Business Partners, HR Shared Services teams, and the legal department to effectively administer disability-related accommodation inquiries and escalations. Your responsibilities will include collecting and reviewing clinical documentation, conducting interactive discussions with key stakeholders, and making appropriate recommendations on reasonable accommodation solutions. This dynamic position requires proven experience in managing accommodations and facilitating interactive process meetings with leaders.

Responsibilities
- As the ADA employment law subject matter expert, you'll proactively research and apply relevant regulations to minimize organizational exposure.
- You'll document all ADA cases per company policy and SOPs, and determine eligibility for federal, state, and company leave, generating compliant communications.
- A key responsibility involves managing the interactive process between team members, leaders, and physicians, including negotiating and denying accommodations when appropriate.
- You'll create legally sound solutions for complex cases, maximizing success for both the team member and the organization.
- This role requires liaising with Risk Management for workers' compensation intersections, and with various HR and vendor teams for unauthorized absences or accommodation denials.
- You'll maintain relationships with vendor account managers, HR leaders, and internal teams.
- You'll also support new system implementation, assist in meeting service level agreements and team metrics, and complete activities for ADA data setup during mergers and acquisitions.
- Ensuring HIPAA compliance and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all applicable ADA and leave laws is essential.
- You'll also be responsible for maintaining updated SOPs and meeting professional obligations by honoring schedules, meeting deadlines, and coordinating resources efficiently.
