Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the Director of Benefits & HRIS to coordinate the annual plan renewal process, including analyzing program costs, evaluating benefit designs, reviewing data requirements, and developing clear employee communications. Regularly assess vendor performance, initiating remarketing as needed to maximize value.
- Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and ease-of-use. Work collaboratively with HRIS team members to support Onboarding, Recruiting, Document Manager and HR Help modules.
- Manage support ticket system for the HRIS operations and manage upgrades.
- Manage leave administration processes and associated vendor relationships, consistently monitoring and refining procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and effective employee communication. Partner closely with the Benefits team to enhance service quality and operational effectiveness.
- Supervise workers’ compensation processes and vendor relationships, regularly reviewing and analyzing claim data with internal and external partners. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance safety, streamline processes, and improve communication strategies to minimize risks and support employee recovery.
- Serve as an approachable and knowledgeable resource to employees, assisting with benefit plan details, eligibility questions, and resolving benefit-related issues promptly and compassionately.
