Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all administrative aspects of property management, ensuring efficient and accurate record-keeping.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, handling requests and resolving issues to ensure a high level of tenant satisfaction.
- Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, including coordinating services and preparing RFPs.
- Collaborate with leasing attorneys on legal proceedings and, when necessary, attend court.
- Provide oversight for collections and HUD compliance, working closely with dedicated on-site specialists.
- Work with the maintenance team to ensure the property is always in excellent condition.
- Assist with other general management tasks as needed to achieve property goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Property Manager.
- Proven experience in affordable housing and with project-based tenants in Connecticut.
- Proficiency with the Yardi app and experience with mobile vouchers is essential.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HUD compliance and recertification processes.
- Excellent administrative, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse tenant population.
Compensation & Schedule
- Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Overtime: Paid overtime is available for hours worked beyond the standard schedule.
