Responsibilities
- Conduct physical counts of merchandise and reconcile them with inventory records.
- Compare inventory data to sales orders, production records, and purchase invoices to maintain current stock levels.
- Investigate and report on discrepancies between physical counts and system records, adjusting for any errors.
- Generate and maintain inventory reports, including those for stock balances and shortages.
- Prepare lists of depleted items and assist in identifying defective or unusable stock.
