Responsibilities
- Case Management: Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case intake, discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial matters.
- Court Filings & Procedures: Prepare, organize, and file legal documents, pleadings, and motions with the Delaware state and federal courts, with a particular focus on the Delaware Court of Chancery. This includes managing e-filing systems and ensuring strict compliance with all court rules and deadlines.
- Discovery Support: Manage and organize all discovery materials, including electronic documents, depositions, and exhibits. Assist with drafting and responding to discovery requests and preparing privilege logs.
- Trial & Hearing Preparation: Provide critical support for trials, hearings, and depositions. This includes creating trial binders, organizing exhibits, summarizing deposition transcripts, and managing witness files.
- Legal Research & Writing: Conduct legal and factual research on topics such as corporate governance, fiduciary duties, and contract law. Assist with drafting and reviewing routine legal documents and correspondence.
- Communication: Serve as a key point of contact for clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and vendors, ensuring clear and timely communication.
