Responsibilities

• Manage a pipeline of vendor contracts, typically under $500K in value. (rolling 12-month renewal pipeline)
• Contracts may not have been previously negotiated, offering opportunities for:
  • Cost savings
  • Risk mitigation
• Review, renegotiate, and manage contracts with vendors.
• Work directly with business line contacts (not necessarily senior leaders).
• Prioritize contracts based on:
  • Renewal dates
  • Vendor complexity
  • Business impact
• Contractor will own and drive their portion of the contract pipeline but will be supported by the team for prioritization and complexity
• Set up meetings with internal stakeholders after reviewing contracts.
• Manage priorities independently
• Coordinate with business contacts to assess and execute renegotiation opportunities
• Contractors negotiate and collaborate with business line stakeholders. Final approval goes through appropriate business leaders and bank protocols, depending on size and scope
