Responsibilities
Randstad is seeking for a Sr Paralegal on a part time basis on a hybrid model. The ideal candidate should have the following responsibilities:
- 5+ years of Paralegal experience in litigation
- Assist in responding to agency inquiries on employment claims
- Updating and maintaining claim log
- Outreach to departments to obtain documents and schedule interviews
- Follow up to ensure timely responses
- Tracking open tasks
- Assist in issuing and maintaining preservation notices
- Drafting litigation matter summaries for review by Campus Counsel
- Drafting preservation notices (working from an existing template)
- Helping identify custodians who should receive notices (by reviewing pleadings and communications)
- Follow up with custodians who receive notices
- Updating prior notices to address new developments
- Assist with responding to discovery and subpoenas (document collection, organization, review, redaction and production)
- Research and special assignments
- Work with other paralegal staff on various projects and cover when staff are out of the office
- Must have Paralegal Certificate
- Part time basis 24-32 hours per week with 1 day in office
- Proficient with MS suite
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- working in a non-temperature controlled environment
