Randstad is seeking a Quality Lab Technician candidate to work with a client company, a leader in specialty metal powders, in the Cleveland, TN area. You will be a key member of their quality team, responsible for conducting precise laboratory tests on our products. The core duties will involve collecting and analyzing samples using techniques like sieve analysis, laser diffraction, and scanning electron microscopy. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain sophisticated lab equipment, meticulously document results, and ensure all procedures comply with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety regulations. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in laboratory procedures and data collection, preferably from an industrial lab environment in a manufacturing facility. Experience with metal powders and chemical analysis (Leco/ICP-OES) is strongly preferred but not required to be considered. This is a full-time, direct hire position with a salary up to $27/hr. Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing on metal powder samples, including particle size analysis, flowability, sieve analysis, and density measurements.
  
  
• Prepare samples for analysis and operate various laboratory instruments.
  
  
• Accurately record, analyze, and report test data using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and MS Office.
  
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment in accordance with safety protocols.
  
  
• Calibrate and perform routine maintenance on lab equipment to ensure accuracy.
  
  
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
