Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders, including business owners, Information Security, and other subject matter experts to develop, document, implement, and maintain a comprehensive, risk-based approach to third-party risk management
- Complete new and periodic third-party risk assessment
- Research information, interview parties of interest, and consul with internal experts to gather, understand and quantify risks associated with assigned third parties
- Maintain and monitor third-party profiles in the risk and compliance enterprise system
- Consistently obtain up-to-date information and documentation to provide required timely risk assessments
- Oversee and assure new third parties and new services from current vendors are properly assessed prior to onboarding
- Work with a team to conduct front-end due diligence
- Identify and communicate third-party risk to the proper internal channels
- Own and lead ad-hoc projects and assessments pertaining to third-party risk
- Review and analyze various third-party submissions (SOC reports, assessment questionnaires, business continuity plans, financial reports, distributed documentation, etc)
- Stay up-to-date on relevant regulations and regulatory guidance set forth by the FFIEC, Federal Reserve, OCC, CFPB, etc
