Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Manage all outbound and inbound shipments, coordinating with carriers and freight forwarders to meet On-Time Delivery goals.
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including packing slips, Bills of Lading, and customs forms (e.g., Shipper Letter Instructions or SLI).
- Ensure all shipping documents and procedures comply with AS9100 quality standards.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders for international shipments and complete all required customs documentation.
- Dispatch our company's truck driver for outside processing and local deliveries, ensuring efficient and timely routes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot shipment-related issues, such as delays or damages, and file claims as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments, customers, vendors, and freight providers to resolve any shipping issues.
- Maintain accurate data entry, checking for errors and inconsistencies to ensure accuracy in our systems.
- Prioritize tasks and manage a high-volume workload efficiently in a dynamic environment.
