Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support EHS activities across the facility, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards
- Monitor and analyze EHS leading and lagging indicators, conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations, and develop corrective action plans.
- Oversee environmental compliance, including permits, sustainability operations, and regulatory reporting.
- Develop, implement, and track employee EHS training programs; lead new employee orientation on EHS responsibilities
- Serve as an EHS subject matter expert, responding to questions, guiding best practices, and mentoring junior specialists
- Collaborate with HR on Workers’ Compensation cases and ensure alignment with company policy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in workplace environmental, health, and safety program management (required).
- Prior manufacturing experience required.
