- Develops supply plans based on demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability across the supply chain.
- Monitors and adjusts supply plans in response to changes in demand, production delays, or supply disruptions, ensuring minimal impact on customer service levels.
- Collaborates with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials and products.
- Utilizes data analytics and planning software to track and optimize inventory levels, identifying opportunities to reduce excess stock and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Conducts root cause analysis on supply chain variances (e.g., stockouts, delays) and implement corrective actions to prevent future disruptions.
- Maintains the supply planning process for a stable and small business scope with limited exposure, ensuring timely updates for meetings and business planning snapshots to support informed decision-making and smooth operations.
- Collaborates closely with manufacturing sites and Original Equipment Manufacturer suppliers to gather and incorporate medium and long-term planning inputs, facilitating the sales and operations planning (S&OP) review process for comprehensive alignment and strategic decision-making.
- Reviews one-year supply planning process for finished products, aligns with master production schedule (MPS) plan, production needs and strategic objectives and optimizes inventory levels to meet customer demand effectively.
- Analyzes monthly data on production capacity and supply availability to develop production plans in accordance with customer demand and committed delivery schedules, balance available resources with market needs and ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Ensures the accuracy of master data within enterprise resource planning (ERP) to facilitate precise rule-based planning processes, thereby optimizing decision-making and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain operations
