Responsibilities
Leadership and Sales
- Driving revenue by making regular business development calls and proactively soliciting new loans and deposits.
- Setting sales goals for the branch and motivating the team to achieve them through sales meetings and training on products and service techniques.
- Collaborating with marketing to create effective sales programs and campaigns.
- Building strong client relationships by understanding their financial needs and offering suitable bank products and services.
- Overseeing staff by hiring, training, and guiding employees. This includes providing coaching and counseling as needed, managing human resources issues, and ensuring all personnel are treated fairly.
- Managing the branch budget and monitoring monthly income and expenses.
- Ensuring compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and non-discriminatory practices.
- Maintaining a high level of client service by ensuring staff are knowledgeable and attentive to client needs.
- Representing the bank in the community through civic and charitable activities.
- Supervising all operations to ensure compliance with bank guidelines and a satisfactory branch audit.
- Exercising designated authority to approve loans, overdrafts, withdrawals, and fee reversals.
- Handling client complaints and resolving errors directly.
- Authorizing official documents and providing signature guarantees.
