In this project-based role, you will be a key player in a major initiative to reconcile and resolve multi-year US payroll tax discrepancies. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented expert to make a significant impact by ensuring full compliance and improving future processes.

Responsibilities
- Lead the review and reconciliation of US payroll tax matters from 2018–2024.
- Analyze audit findings and unreconciled differences between payroll and accounting records.
- Develop and execute a plan to resolve all identified tax delinquencies and discrepancies.
- Communicate directly with federal, state, and local tax agencies to resolve outstanding issues.
- Prepare and submit required registrations, amended returns, and payments in partnership with the Payroll Supervisor.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of all findings, corrective actions, and resolutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and recommend process enhancements to prevent future compliance issues.
