We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Certified Public Accountant or experienced tax preparer to join our collaborative team on a seasonal basis. This is a chance to apply your expertise in a supportive, fast-paced environment. Your role will be instrumental in helping individuals and businesses navigate their tax responsibilities with confidence and precision. salary: $35 - $45 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Tax Preparation: Prepare and file accurate federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, small businesses, and corporations. This includes gathering and analyzing financial data from clients to ensure all necessary forms are completed correctly.
  
  
• Client Consultation: Conduct in-depth interviews with clients to collect financial information and provide professional advice on tax planning, compliance, and strategies to minimize tax liability.
  
  
• Bookkeeping and Financial Analysis: Perform bookkeeping and accounting duties for clients, including reconciling accounts and analyzing financial statements to identify potential deductions and credits.
  
  
• Research and Compliance: Stay up-to-date on all changes to tax laws and regulations to ensure all returns are compliant and to provide the most current and effective advice to clients.
  
  
• Audit Representation: Act as a liaison and represent clients during IRS and state tax authority audits, providing professional support and resolving any discrepancies.
