We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional who is comfortable in a fast-paced setting. You must have excellent communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP). Experience with Epicor is a plus.

Our client is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and career-driven individual to join our Purchasing team. In this position, you will work as a buyer and analyst to help identify and vet suppliers and manage expenditures. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, supportive environment and have a proven track record of success in a manufacturing setting.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create daily purchase orders for both domestic and overseas materials.
- Track purchase orders, confirm receipt, and ensure the timely delivery of materials.
- Purchase a variety of materials including steel, coil, rods, other metal products, factory equipment, tools, machinery, and replacement parts.
- Compare and evaluate price quotes from various suppliers to secure the best value.
- Prepare accurate cost savings reports using Excel.
- Resolve quality and accounting issues, reconcile credit card statements, and address inventory-related issues caused by supplier errors.
- Correctly and promptly resolve non-conformity material issues.
- Book vendor shipments using a proprietary database and manage all necessary email correspondence.
