We're looking for a talented Draftsman to join our team. In this role, you'll be the linchpin between ideas and finished products, creating the detailed technical drawings that bring our projects to life. You'll work closely with our engineering and sales teams, using your skills in AutoCAD and SolidWorks to ensure every design is perfect.
What You'll Do:
- Create precise technical drawings and plans.
- Work with our team to bring innovative projects from concept to reality.
- Ensure every design is compliant and flawless.
- Help us solve design challenges before they start.
- Required: Associate's Degree or technical certificate.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related field.
- Proven experience in computer-aided design and drafting.

salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Drafting and Design: Create various technical drawings following specific calculations and specifications.
- CAD Software: Prepare complex, detailed drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Collaboration: Communicate with engineers and the sales department to incorporate knowledge gained into designs.
- Compliance: Ensure all final designs are compliant with project requirements and standards.
- Problem Identification: Identify and communicate potential design problems to the rest of the team.
- Document Creation: Create nameplates and other engineering documents specific to the line of work.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field is preferred. An Associate's degree or a technical certificate is required.
- Experience: Experience in computer-aided design and drafting is a must.
- Skills: The ability to work well both in a team and individually is required. A positive attitude and the ability to respond well to criticism are essential.
