We are seeking a Dispatch/Customer Service Representative to join our team in a major logistics hub in the DFW area. This is a critical dual-role position where you'll serve as the central point of contact for our drivers, customers, and internal teams. Responsibilities

• Dispatch Operations:
  
  
  • Monitor and track the location and status of all dispatched drivers to ensure on-time performance and proactively identify potential delays.
    
    
  • Provide clear and concise instructions to drivers regarding routes, pickup/delivery schedules, and special handling requirements.
    
    
  • Proactively anticipate and resolve operational challenges such as traffic delays, mechanical issues, or missed appointments.
    
    
• Customer & Vendor Relations:
  
  
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely and professional updates on shipment status via phone and email.
    
    
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for pickups and deliveries, coordinating with customers and carriers to ensure a smooth flow of freight.
    
    
• System Management & Administration:
  
  
  • Accurately update and maintain shipment information, appointment logs, and other critical data within the company’s transportation management system
    
    
  • Manage a high volume of emails and phone calls, ensuring all inquiries are answered promptly and professionally.

Dispatch (3 years of experience is required)

Track Orders (2 years of experience is required)

Scheduling (3 years of experience is preferred)
