Ideal Candidate Snapshot – Backend-Focused Data Analyst
- 5+ years of work experiencein SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, and automation (Power Automate, Python, Databricks).
- Experienced with Azure/Power BI Server and large-scale data integration.
- Comfortable building Power BI dashboards but excels at ensuring the data underneath is accurate, automated, and scalable.
- Communicates well with both technical teams and business users, and can document and train when needed.

Responsibilities
Day to day:
- Develop scalable SQL queries and manage connections across multiple servers and data sources.
- Build and optimize data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for reporting and analysis.
- Automate reporting workflows and repetitive tasks using Python, Databricks, or Power Automate.
- Partner with backend developers and cloud engineers (Azure) to integrate systems and ensure smooth data flow.
- Support Power BI dashboards and reporting tools, ensuring data accuracy and performance.
- Document processes, create user guides, and provide occasional training to business users.
- Backend focused: SQL (intermediate to advanced), data modeling, data integration, ETL/ELT.
- Automation experience: Microsoft Power Automate, Python scripting, or Databricks for pipeline automation.
- Cloud knowledge: Azure, Power BI Server, or similar.
- Frontend familiarity: Power BI dashboard development and data visualization (nice to have but secondary).
- Advanced analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data issues.
- Bachelor’s degree (or 8+ years of relevant experience).
