Requirements:
- 5+ years of accounting experience as a Senior Accountant required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related required; CPA preferred
- Must-Have fundamental knowledge of accounting principles (debits and credits)
- Proven experience in corporate accounting is highly preferred.
- Previous experience with NetSuite preferred
- Advanced MS Excel skills needed (Pivot Tables, VLookup’s)
- Must be able to work onsite in Las Vegas, NV

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate’s primary focus will be managing key accounting functions through the month-end close, including preparing journal entries, maintaining fixed assets, handling treasury functions, and performing general ledger reconciliations.
- Month-End Close: Drive the timely and accurate month-end and quarter-end close processes.
- General Ledger: Prepare and post complex journal entries, maintain the general ledger.
- Reconciliations: Perform and review complex balance sheet account reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and intercompany accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Fixed Assets: Manage the fixed asset lifecycle, including recording acquisitions and disposals, and calculating and posting monthly depreciation.
- Treasury Functions: Assist with daily treasury operations, including cash management, forecasting, and monitoring banking.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Analysis: Conduct variance analysis on financial results, providing clear and concise explanations for fluctuations.
- Audit & Compliance: Support external audits by preparing PBC (Provided by Client) schedules and providing necessary documentation.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and internal controls for greater efficiency and accuracy.
