Responsibilities
Supplier Quality Management:
- Register and track complaints reported to suppliers.
- Ensure that supplier corrective actions are closed in a timely manner.
- Manage and update supplier quality documents, certificates, and scorecards.
- Conduct supplier audits.
- Monitor the quality of purchased products using Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Supervise compliance with procedures by incoming inspection auditors.
- Approve Supplier PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submissions and 4M changes from suppliers.
- Enforce quality standards in the raw materials receiving process.
- Negotiate with suppliers regarding the sorting and return of materials.
- Carry out product containment for in-process and finished goods due to external complaints.
- Manage inspection controls for receiving products and raw materials.
- Responsible for the hold area for purchased materials and products.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and corporate/customer requirements.
- Train and develop incoming inspection inspectors.
- Support training for end users.
- Assist in release runs with suppliers and support product releases.
- Define methods to identify 100% certified materials.
- Follow up on supplier certification plans to ensure compliance.
- Lead process improvements such as implementing 5S in the area.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor the area's risk matrix.
