What You'll Be Doing:
- Onboarding & Screening: You'll be responsible for conducting pre-employment screening and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for all new hires.
- HR Compliance: Help us stay compliant by maintaining legal postings and enforcing company policies in line with all federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Record Keeping: You'll maintain confidential and accurate employee files, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant with data retention laws.
- Leave of Absence (LOA): You'll handle the administration of all leaves of absence, including FMLA, and track leave duration.
- Workers Compensation: Manage workers' compensation claims and work with our insurance providers.
Compensation: $30 - $35/hour

Responsibilities

- Workers Compensation: Manage all workers' compensation claims, liaise with insurance providers, and promote a safe workplace to prevent injuries.
- Leave of Absence (LOA): Administer FMLA, sick leave, and other leaves of absence. Process leave requests and track leave duration.
- Employee Files & Record Keeping: Maintain confidential and accurate employee records, including personnel files and I-9 forms, in compliance with data privacy and retention laws.
- Onboarding & Screening: Conduct pre-employment screening, including background checks and drug testing. Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new hires.
