This role is a key player in our day-to-day financial operations, with a primary focus on accounts payable and cash applications. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for accuracy and experience in a fast-paced setting.



salary: $52,000 - $62,400 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable (AP):
  
  
  • Process vendor invoices with accuracy, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
    
    
  • Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments.
    
    
  • Reconcile vendor statements and promptly resolve any discrepancies.
    
    
• Accounts Receivable (AR):
  
  
  • Apply incoming cash, check, and EFT payments to the correct customer accounts (cash applications).
    
    
  • Generate and send out customer statements.
    
    
  • Assist with collections on past-due accounts as needed.
    
    
• General Support:
  
  
  • Provide general support to the accounting department, including filing, data entry, and special projects.
    
    
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures and account reconciliations.
