As the architect of this transformation, you will be tasked with diagnosing the root causes of process failures, designing a new, efficient, and scalable workflow from the ground up, and driving its adoption across the organization. You will partner closely with executive leadership and department heads in Engineering, Operations, and Finance to understand their unique needs, build best-in-class processes, document clear SOPs, and ultimately deliver a procurement framework that empowers, rather than hinders, the business. Location: Las Vegas, NV (Onsite near 215W and Rainbow) Term: 4 to 6 months Compensation: $58/hr to 80/hr. based on experience The Ideal consultant will have 5+ years of experience in management consulting, business operations, or a senior procurement/sourcing role with a focus on process transformation.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully leading complex, cross-functional operational redesign projects from discovery to implementation.
- Expertise in developing and documenting business processes and SOPs.
- Expert in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation principles, and vendor management best practices.
- Must be ok with working onsite at our client's office.

Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive, end-to-end analysis of the current procure-to-pay lifecycle, from vendor selection to payment settlement.
- Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops with department heads and end-users to map existing workflows, identify critical pain points, and gather detailed business requirements.
- Analyze findings to diagnose the core strategic and operational weaknesses in the current process, independent of the technology platform.
- Architect a new, streamlined procurement workflow that is scalable, compliant, and user-friendly.
- Develop and document a comprehensive set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and governance frameworks that provide clear guardrails for all purchasing activities.
- Design a strategic vendor management program, including criteria for vendor selection, performance metrics (KPIs), and review cadences.
- Function as a true business partner to executive leadership, translating complex operational issues into clear business cases for change.
- Synthesize your findings and present a compelling, data-driven proposal for the redesigned process, outlining the strategy, implementation roadmap, and expected business impact.
- Collaborate closely with the Procurement Systems Consultant to ensure the new process design is technically feasible and fully supported by the chosen technology solution.
