THE ROLE: HR Coordinator
- Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
- Schedule: 9:30 AM – 6:15 PM
- Location: Riverside
- Duration: Temporary with the intent to convert to permanent employment.
- Managing critical HR data entry and transactional requests (new hires, status changes, terminations).
- Conducting new hire orientation and ensuring all associate documentation and compliance records are maintained.
- Serving as the primary HR support for approximately 1,000 hourly associates.
- Assisting managers with policy interpretation and administration.
- Coordinating with Corporate Benefits on inquiries, FMLA, LOA, and Workers' Comp claims.
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
- strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A proactive work ethic and ability to work autonomously and with a team.
- Prior HR experience in a Distribution Center environment and bilingual skills are a strong plus!

Responsibilities
A Day in the Life
·Process various time-sensitive data entry, uploads, exports and transactional requests from HR, the business and associates related to status changes in the HRIS and all applicable systems.
·Prepare new hire orientation material and maintain data entry for new hires as well as conduct new hire orientation and onboarding.
·Manage, track and ensure compliance on all associate information and documentation as dictated by governing policies, including new hire required documentation, associate performance reviews, progressive discipline and terminations.
·Supports the Distribution Centers with the planning, communicating and tracking of company-wide initiatives, events and objectives throughout the year as well as the daily associate inquiries.
o Advise and assist Managers and Supervisors on interpretation and administration of HR policies and procedures.
·Act as a liaison between Distribution Center associates and Corporate Benefits department to support and resolve benefits inquiries.
o Coordinate FMLA, LOA, Workers Comp claims and submit paperwork to corporate/vendor
·Handling and support additional projects as needed.
