- A/R Mastery: Command the full-cycle Accounts Receivable process, ensuring daily invoicing, statement distribution, and the precise posting of all incoming funds (including high-volume ACH, Wires, Checks, and Credit Card transactions) are handled accurately and promptly.
- Collections & Discrepancy Resolution: Lead high-volume, proactive collections efforts on all past-due accounts. This includes engaging with clients to resolve complex payment discrepancies and meticulously monitoring and adjusting customer credit limits and payment holds.
- Advanced Reconciliation: Take full ownership of complex, multi-account financial reconciliation. Responsibilities include the timely closure of multiple bank statements, reconciling various MC/Visa/Amex statements, and accurately balancing foreign currency transactions.
- Month-End Expertise: Execute all critical Month-End close procedures with precision. This involves ensuring General Ledger (GL) entries are accurate and preparing detailed financial data to contribute to key reports, including the Profit and Loss (P&L) statements.
- System Fluency: Utilize and operate with proficiency in core accounting platforms, including experience with Great Plains, Salesforce, and Zendesk, to efficiently track accounts, manage billing error corrections, and resolve sensitive chargeback disputes.
- Internal Coordination: Serve as a key liaison, partnering closely with Shipping, Sales, and Customer Service departments to verify order data, confirm service delivery, and efficiently manage the comprehensive process for new account setups and credit reference checks.
- 5+ years of dedicated, continuous experience in an Accounts Receivable Specialist or Analyst role.
- Demonstrable expertise in managing complex, multi-entity AR/GL in a service-oriented environment.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data modeling).
- Prior experience with full-scope bank and credit card reconciliation is essential.
- Associates Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
