This critical role manages the end-to-end flow of international exports, ensuring full compliance and supply chain efficiency.
Key Areas of Responsibility
I. International Export & Transportation Coordination
- Manage the full lifecycle of international air and ocean export shipments (FCL, LCL, Air Freight), including booking and carrier selection based on cost, urgency, and service metrics.
- Prepare, verify, and file all essential export documentation, including Bills of Lading (BoL), Air Waybills (AWB), and Electronic Export Information (EEI) filings.
- Actively track and monitor all shipments from origin to destination, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues, delays, or disruptions to maintain delivery schedules.
- Collaborate directly with internal Freight Forwarding teams to align capacity and execution strategies.
- Ensure absolute adherence to U.S. export regulations and global trade compliance standards to mitigate risk of penalties or fines.
- Oversee inventory management, coordinating regular physical stock checks and cycle counts to ensure synchronization between physical goods and system records (WMS/ERP).
- Manage communication and relationships with suppliers and vendors, proactively addressing delivery discrepancies and performance issues to secure timely delivery of goods.
- Routinely analyze key logistics data (carrier performance, freight costs, delivery rates) to identify bottlenecks and areas of inefficiency.
- Develop, recommend, and implement process improvements designed to enhance overall productivity and achieve measurable cost reduction targets.
- Maintain meticulous transaction records and generate detailed data analysis and KPI reports to support strategic business decisions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external customer inquiries related to shipping status and delivery.
- Foster cross-functional partnerships with Procurement, Production, and Sales to ensure alignment between operational logistics and overall business objectives.
- Ensure all departmental activities comply with relevant company policies, standards, and government regulations.
