Responsibilities
Overview:
Seeking an entry-level Production Control Coordinator to support material flow and production scheduling within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role works closely with planning, purchasing, and operations to ensure materials and documentation are available to meet production deadlines and customer commitments.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating and tracking the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between departments.
- Support planning and production teams by maintaining accurate records of Work-In-Process (WIP), shortages, and delivery schedules.
- Update and monitor material status reports using Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
- Help prepare and release production kits with all required travelers and documentation.
- Communicate with supervisors and production staff to resolve basic material or documentation issues.
- Process routine system transactions such as order releases, material moves, and inventory updates.
- Support processing of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Discrepant Material Reports (DMRs).
- Work with purchasing and planning teams to help expedite materials and maintain on-time deliveries.
