Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Manage the flow of information by retrieving documents from the electronic fax inbox and uploading files from scans and provider exchanges.
- Ensure data integrity by accurately filing all documents into the correct patient's Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Support quality initiatives by completing structured data fields for documents related to critical quality measures.
- Maintain strict compliance with all federal and local confidentiality laws, including HIPAA, to protect patient privacy.
- Provide clear reporting of daily productivity logs to the team lead, contributing to a culture of efficiency and transparency.
What You'll Bring
Essential Qualifications (Must-Haves):
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One year of professional experience in a medical office setting.
- Demonstrated experience working within an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
