Our Houston-based client is looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst! We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized professional to play a critical role in ensuring accurate and efficient invoice processing and financial reconciliation. Responsibilities

• Review and resolve invoice exceptions (e.g., duplicates, pricing errors) to ensure accurate vendor payments.
  
  
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies by promptly coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
  
  
• Answer internal/external emails quickly with accurate information to support AP operations.
  
  
• Perform credit card and intercompany reconciliations for accurate reporting.
  
  
• Process vendor invoices to customers, ensuring consistency and policy compliance.
  
  
• Manage manual payments, verifying correct allocation and documentation.
  
  
• Assist with expense accruals for accurate financial forecasting and reporting.
  
  
• Utilize advanced Excel functions (LOOKUPS, Pivot Tables) to analyze financial data efficiently.
  
  
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to clarify variances and ensure smooth payment processing.
  
  
• Maintain documentation for all audit and compliance purposes.
  
  
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize AP efficiency.
  
  
• Indirectly and directly contribute to product quality.
