You won't just be pushing paper; you'll be the financial backbone of the business. Your core mission will be maintaining the integrity of the general ledger through rigorous daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, A/P, and A/R.

Responsibilities
- Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Reconciliations: Perform regular, comprehensive reconciliations of various accounts, including bank statements, credit card accounts, general ledger accounts, and sub-ledgers (such as accounts payable and accounts receivable).
- Discrepancy Investigation: Meticulously investigate and promptly resolve any variances, out-of-balance conditions, or discrepancies found during the reconciliation process.
- Journal Entries: Prepare and post necessary journal entries to correct errors and ensure all financial data is accurately recorded.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed and organized records of all reconciliation activities. Prepare regular reconciliation reports for management, highlighting any issues or trends.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline reconciliation procedures and enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., Accounts Payable, Payroll, Treasury) to gather information, resolve issues, and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of reconciliation processes and findings.
