Responsibilities
- Assemble multi-million dollar federal, state, local, workers comp, and health tax reports using RPA tools to ensure accurate payments and reporting.
- Maintain quarterly state/local tax checklists with due dates, form requirements, and payment history.
- Execute tax payments via Banks ACH and Recurring Payment systems; manage banking and vendor master records.
- Prepare and file quarterly SUI tax returns, calculate liabilities, and initiate payments; format and submit files per state specs.
- Support annual and quarter-end reconciliations; download and format files to meet agency requirements.
- Respond to tax agency notices, research assessments, and provide supporting documentation.
- Create journal entries for tax returns and reconciliation discrepancies.
- Reconcile payroll accounts monthly; input data into Excel based on corporate standards.
- Prepare weekly TipSmart GL reconciliations and ensure accurate ARML reporting.
- Process weekly accounting entries to distribute daily pay card loads from a central account to restaurant-level accounts. Bachelor’s degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting/Finance or the individual should have 3-5 years of relevant experience.
