What You'll Do:
- Supplier Relationship Management: Establish, measure, and maintain robust supplier and fabricator relationships to secure components efficiently.
- Strategic Procurement: Purchase goods, materials, and services to meet specific cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- System Leadership: Manage and improve the MRP system to oversee inventory, gross requirements, and demand planning.
- Performance Driving: Meet and exceed company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to OTD, Quality, Environmental, and Safety standards.
- 5+ years of progressive Purchasing and/or Supply Chain Management experience.
- Manufacturing Expertise: Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment with deep knowledge of various methods (machining, sheet metal, molding, etc.).
- Technical Literacy: Proficiency in reading and understanding mechanical engineering prints (dimensions, tolerancing).
- ERP/MRP System Mastery: Extensive, required experience with enterprise resource planning systems (Sage 100 experience is a significant plus).
- Certifications: Experience with eQMS systems (Arena is a plus) and working knowledge of ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline preferred, Associate's degree considered.

Responsibilities
- Meet and/or exceed all company published KPI’s regarding supply chain management, OTD, Quality, Suppler scorecards, Environmental and Safety.
- Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, environmental and delivery targets.
- Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact business operations.
- Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities.
- Manage and improve an MRP system that addresses all inventory. Gross requirements, demand planning, release schedules.
- Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing.
- Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.
- Escalate any product discrepancies to suppliers and management as applicable and requested by Quality.
- Seek alternate suppliers to minimize costs and increase profitability.
- Performs all other duties as required to meet the company’s goals and objectives.
