Responsibilities
- Oversee client accounts and addressing / resolving client questions / issues relating to invoices.
- Assist Process and post incoming customer payments in EHR system; issue receipts and statements.
- Assist Prepare manual and system-generated monthly statements for direct client care services and insurance claims.
- Assist Responsible for Self-Pay month and year-end close process, ensure completeness and accuracy before posting Self Pay cycle in EHR system.
- Maintain accounts receivable aging and follow up on any past due balances.
- Monitor insurance balances and follow up on outstanding claims.
- Ensure all clients remain informed of their outstanding balances and deadlines; set up payment plans for past-due accounts
- Work to resolve processing errors or missing information with Clinical Services department.
- The employee in this position must be able to ensure that all related duties are timely, accurately entered, and complete to ensure accurate client billing and month-end reporting.
- This role requires the ability to handle confidential client information in accordance with HIPPA guidelines.
- Provide general support to the Finance Director and the current Senior Accountant on various ad-hoc projects.
- Perform other related duties as required as assigned.
