About the role:
As a Debt Collections Representative, you’ll become an expert in one of our client's brands, spending most of your day using an automatic dialer to make outbound calls and handle inbound ones. You’ll also communicate with customers via email. Your main goal is to help bring their loan payments up to date. We take a softer collections approach—showing empathy and understanding—while keeping the focus on successfully collecting payments.
Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbounds calls to customers regarding overdue payments
- Find solutions for customers who are past due on their account to get them back up to date
- Follow up with customers via email and answer any questions that they may have
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date information of customer interactions
- Move existing customers through various stages of delinquency with a proficiency to brings loans to a current status
- Follow all collection laws and legal practice
- 1 or more years of collections experience is required
- Previous experience in a call center environment
- Excelent phone communication and verbal skills, with the ability to actively listen and provide assertive solutions.
- Experience using collection systems and automated dialers, with the ability to talk and type simultaneously.
- Knowledge of FDCPA and FCRA practices
- Basic proficiency in navigating multiple computer systems.
- Prior experience using Salesforce is a plus
- This position offers a pay rate of $25 an hour with the opportunity to earn a monthly bonus.

Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM. MST
