The Accoutning Manager serves as the chief financial custodian, tasked with protecting company assets and guaranteeing the production of precise and timely financial statements. This role is a crucial strategic partner to the leadership team, working to spur profitable business expansion. To excel, the individual must possess profound technical accounting knowledge, be adept in cost accounting within a manufacturing setting, and demonstrate the necessary leadership abilities to cultivate a top-tier accounting staff while instilling a commitment to accountability and continuous operational enhancement.

Responsibilities

This senior financial executive manages and directs all corporate financial activities, ensuring timely and US GAAP-compliant financial reporting through meticulous period-end close processes. The role encompasses strategic cost management, including variance analysis and partnership with operations to optimize cost structure and inventory. They are central to financial planning and analysis, leading the annual budget, rolling forecasts, and providing key financial insights for strategic projects and capital investments. Crucially, the position maintains a solid internal control environment, coordinates external audits, handles cash/treasury management, and guarantees adherence to all tax and regulatory mandates. Finally, this leader is responsible for ERP system management (M1) and the development and coaching of the accounting team, while also overseeing risk management and insurance programs.
