Are you a system-savvy, entrepreneurial-spirited, numbers-loving, billing and cash applications, accounts receivable professional?  Do you thrive in a dynamic, growing, results-oriented environment?  This private equity backed corporation is in the midst of a system change/implementation and has an IMMEDIATE need for support from an experienced Accounts Receivable Accounting Analyst professional who ideally has experience with Great Plains and who is used to HIGH VOLUME of invoices (hundreds per day).  The company is transforming and implementing best practices and process improvements.  You will be interacting with the Accounting Team and Sales Team extensively.  The chosen candidate comes with accounts receivable experience, exceptional Excel and Data Analytics, embraces change, is a sponge and thrives  in a high volume, deadline oriented environment. The company believes in collaboration and works 100% onsite.  Parking is free.

Responsibilities

Support and partner with the site's Accounting Supervisor and the team's Analyst, providing your expertise in HIGH VOLUME billing and cash applications as the company continues the transformation to shared service hubs across the US.  The company is in growth and process improvement mode due to being purchased by a Private Equity Firm a few years back.  

• Utilize your exceptional Excel skills, system skills, and accounting software skills daily
• Generate invoices for customers accurately and in a timely manner
• Record and post payments received from customers
• Follow up with customers on overdue payments via phone and email
• Manage credit hold process and communicate with customer service as holds are released
• Maintain customer accounts, including verifying customer information, conducting credit checks, monitoring credit limits, updating records, and resolving any discrepancies
• Assist with ad-hoc projects
