Key Responsibilities
- Perform administrative tasks to assist Data Intake Associates with processing claim submissions.
- Enter new claim submissions into the GWEW system.
- Review and resolve "business exceptions" in the CMS system; this includes determining why a claim failed and performing the corrective action required.
- Put corrected claims back into the BOT for processing.
- Obtain and file Accurint reports as needed.
- Respond to internal and external status requests regarding claim submissions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required (pivot tables, formulas, and macros).
- Medical coding is a plus but not required.
- Previous experience in a claims processing or high-volume data entry role.
- Hybrid Work Schedule: You are only required to be on-site 1-2 days per week.
- Possibility of Extension: The contract may be extended beyond the initial 3-month term.
