Responsibilities

We are seeking an entry-level Accountant with 0 – 2 years of experience (internship counts) who wants  to gain hands-on multi-faceted experience in retail sales, construction, and e-commerce accounting.  Working under supervision of Accounting Manager and Vice President/CFO, you will assist with posting  journal entries, updating financial statements, preparing financial reports, and conducting monthly  financial reporting. You will assist with full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes,  reconcile and balance general ledge accounts, input data and develop monthly journal entries. You will  dig deep to research account discrepancies and correct problems.  

Additionally, you will support the business team with regular processes for cash accounting, internal  reporting, payroll, credit card reconciliations, order reviews, and invoice tracking. You will gain exposure  to varied aspects of e-commerce business operations, vendors, and business processes across a broad  array of business operation types.  

Candidate Requirements  

- Bachelor level degree in Accounting 

- High level of attention to detail 

- Extremely organized and methodical  

- Ability to use and learn software, including Intuit QuickBooks  

- Excellent MS Excel skills, including graphs and pivot tables  

- Clean background check  

- Excellent references
