About the Team:
Our accounts payable team requires a person, who performs at a high level of accuracy and efficiency, is well organized and demonstrates ownership and initiative to accomplish goals. The candidate will innovate to drive efficiencies through the process improvements.
salary: $35 - $42 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities
● Verify approval and coding on all invoices and prepare disbursement requests
● Purchase foreign currency and set-up ACH and wire transactions for payments
● Perform month-end close processes related to invoice processing
● Assist with 1099 preparation, distribution and inquiries
● Process and enter 200-300 invoices per week
● Maintain proper internal controls and enforcement of Medidata’s policies and procedures.
● Maintain a high level of focus on customer service and ensure responsiveness to inquiries
● Ability to process and follow-up on rush items
● Responsible for AP mailboxes workflow, distribution and forwarding
● Spearhead document retention process for AP, filing invoices, and maintain AP documents
● Provide AP documents for internal and external audit teams and internal departments upon
request
● Process Payroll, Rent, Legal (Serengeti), Tax, Customer Rebate, Intercompany Payments
● Special projects as assigned
