- Architect and file complex U.S. Customs drawback claims, meticulously ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Analyze import and export data to identify opportunities for maximum duty and tax recovery.
- Lead the organization of critical transaction records to maintain documentation integrity for audit readiness.
- Streamline process improvements to enhance filing efficiency and recovery potential.
- Partner with brokers and trade partners to obtain necessary documentation and resolve claim discrepancies.
- Provide strategic reporting and updates to management on recovery performance and compliance risk.
- Proven proficiency with 2+ years of experience in Customs Compliance, Trade Compliance, or dedicated Drawback programs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations (19 CFR) and duty drawback procedures.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience utilizing drawback software or recognized trade compliance systems.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis for financial reconciliation.
