- Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
- Proficiency in navigating and working within an ERP system.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and innovative solution capabilities.
- Exceptional communication abilities, including listening skills and a logical, systematic approach to information assimilation.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Previous customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the OEM or EMS industry is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
- Order Management: Preparing Requests for Quotations (RFQs), issuing and managing purchase orders (POs) that accurately reflect negotiated terms, price, and schedule.
- Strategic Sourcing & Cost Analysis: Identifying, investigating, and recommending new suppliers, conducting detailed cost analysis, and negotiating price and delivery for parts, equipment, and materials.
- Supplier Development & Expediting: Developing alternate sources of supply, continuously benchmarking best practices, and driving urgency to improve lead times through effective expediting.
- Risk Mitigation: Regularly communicating potential supplier failures and mediating to resolve shipment quality discrepancies and manufacturing issues.
- Cross-Functional Support: Providing essential analytical support to teams like Operations, Shipping & Receiving, and Six Sigma/Lean initiatives.
