Responsibilities
- Customer Communication: Greet customers, handle inquiries, and manage all correspondence with a high degree of professionalism. Monitor emails constantly and respond promptly; ensure no customer request goes unanswered.
- Order Management: Enter customer orders into the system accurately and efficiently. Track order status and communicate delivery updates proactively.
- Production Liaison: Walk the production floor to check status, locate orders, and communicate customer requests, rush orders, or changes directly to the production team.
- Shipping & Logistics: Generate shipping documents for UPS, FedEx, and LTL shipments.
- Inventory & Receiving: Receive incoming materials using company software and assist with month-end inventory reports.
- Documentation & Compliance: Record customer complaints via phone/email, maintain filing systems (including year-end purges), and support ISO 9001 document control requirements.
- General Support: Perform other related duties as assigned to support the team.
