Responsibilities
Seeking a creative and technically skilled Carpet Designer to join our team and work closely with our extensive hospitality-client base. The successful candidate will collaborate with clients, interior designers, sales, and our design teams.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients and interior designers to understand and interpret the customer’s requirements and translate these into design solutions.
- Develop initial concepts and designs for full flooring solutions (e.g., broadloom carpets, rugs, carpet tiles) tailored to hospitality environments.
- Help clients create bespoke carpet products by combining creativity with manufacturing feasibility.
- Produce accurate layouts, technical information and documentation to support client specification and internal workflows.
- Utilise our online archive system to reference previous designs, track patterns, and assist design development.
- Collaborate with our sales team, US and UK design teams
- Ensure design work is delivered to schedule, meets quality standards, and aligns with client expectations.
- Experience working with bespoke textile or carpet‐design software (APSO).
- Solid knowledge of different carpet types and manufacturing techniques (e.g., woven, printed, tufted).
