We are looking for a Medical Front Office candidate for a temp to hire position with a reputable client.  This role ensures a warm, child-friendly environment while managing essential administrative tasks, including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient registration.  

salary: $17 - $19 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Patient Check-In/Check-Out: Greet families warmly, verify patient demographics, update insurance information, and collect co-payments.
• Appointment Management: Coordinate physician schedules by booking well-child visits, rechecks, and new patient consultations via phone or online scheduling tools.
• Insurance Verification: Confirm eligibility and benefits before visits and assist with necessary referrals or prior authorizations.
• Communication: Manage high-volume multi-line phone systems.
• Records Maintenance: Accurately scan and link documents (lab results, school forms) into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) while maintaining strict HIPAA confidentiality.
• Front Desk Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming waiting area for children; manage office supply inventory.
