Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Documentation: Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery schedules. Process shipping labels, packing slips, and required documentation for carriers like UPS and LTL/Flatbed trucks.
- Material Handling: Safely operate heavy machinery, including stand-up/sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and electric pallet jacks, to move and stage materials.
- Inventory Control: Perform real-time inventory checks, cycle counts, and data entry to maintain accurate stock levels. Use RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track product movement.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming materials for damage and verify product codes and quantities. Ensure all outgoing shipments are securely packed and labeled to prevent transit damage.
- Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to all OSHA standards and PPE protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment. Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintain facility cleanliness.
