- Subject Matter Expertise: Solid understanding of FMLA regulations and various state-mandated leave programs.
- Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex policy information in a clear, empathetic, and professional manner.
- Detail Orientation: High level of accuracy in tracking dates, deadlines, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities
- Leave Case Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all leave-related inquiries. You will manage the "Leave Ticket" queue, ensuring timely and accurate responses to employee questions.
- Process Navigation: Guide employees through the complexities of FMLA, Short-Term Disability (STD), Long-Term Disability (LTD), and company-specific leave policies.
- Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving State Paid Family & Medical Leave programs (e.g., CA PFL, NY PFL, WA PFML) to ensure company compliance and accurate employee pay.
- Documentation: Coordinate the distribution and collection of required medical certifications and notices, ensuring all records are kept confidential and organized.
- Benefits Support: Assist with general benefits administration, including enrollment support, life event processing, and basic inquiries regarding health and welfare plans.
- Communication: Serve as a bridge between employees, managers, and payroll to ensure leave statuses are clear and pay cycles are uninterrupted.
