This is a contract position located in Westchester County, NY. We are seeking a detail oriented Accounts Payable professional with at least two years experience. The schedule is onsite in office with some remote work. 

Accounts Payable Specialist The Accounts Payable Specialist manages the full-cycle AP process, from high-volume invoice entry to vendor relations. This role ensures financial accuracy and timely payment processing within a fast-paced accounting department.



Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years in Accounts Payable or a general accounting role.
  
  
• Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  
  
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard ERP/AP software.
  
  
• Core Competencies: ability to meet tight deadlines, good attention to detail, and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Data Entry: Process a high volume of vendor invoices daily with strict attention to detail.
  
  
• Account Reconciliation: Perform regular statement reconciliations to ensure ledger accuracy.
  
  
• Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for payment inquiries and account discrepancies.
  
  
• Administrative Support: Manage the AP email alias and assist with new vendor onboarding/documentation.
