The Opportunity Are you a Senior Accountant ready to take the next step into leadership? We are representing a premier, faith-based organization in Las Vegas that is undergoing a historic period of growth. Following a recent large-scale expansion, they now support over 1,000 employees and are building out a sophisticated finance team to match their scale.
This is a brand-new position reporting directly to the Financial Controller. You will be the "right hand" to leadership, managing "in-the-weeds" accounting functions while helping to mentor and oversee a dedicated staff.

Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight: Manage the monthly financial close, including general ledger entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Compliance & GAAP: Ensure all financial data and reporting strictly adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Leadership: Directly supervise and mentor team members in the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable departments.
- Strategic Support: Assist with cash flow management, budgeting, and financial forecasting to guide organizational planning.
- Internal Controls: Maintain and implement effective internal controls to protect organizational assets and enhance accuracy.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
- Experience: At least 3 years of progressive accounting experience; this is an ideal role for a high-performing Senior Accountant looking for a title promotion.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency in QuickBooks and Financial Edge (Blackbaud) is a significant plus; advanced Excel skills are a must.
- Professionalism: This is a conservative and traditional environment; candidates must be comfortable with professional grooming standards.
- Requirements: Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, including FBI Fingerprinting.
