This Assistant Project Manager Position is for their Hauppauge, Long Island location. Do you enjoy contributing to the Project Team as a team player? Do you like to organize, plan,  communicate, and execute specific strategies for successful project completion? Do you want to help  the Project Manager maintain total accountability for financial aspects of projects including purchasing,  resource management, and profitability? You understand that you may be responsible for learning new  processes and technology which will allow you to be part of a highly functional and interactive team.  You want to create and maintain relationships with clients to facilitate new project sales. You have a “we can do anything" attitude. 



salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager(s) with project Schedule, material coordination, fabrication coordination,  and project close out. 

• Support Project Management staff from project award to project close out 

• Assist with Creating & Maintaining of Project Schedules and status of all project activities • Assist with Coordination of Materials, In-House and with External Vendors to Ensure Daily Load  & Scope Daily Requests are completed accurately and timely for each project scheduled • Assist with Change Order Management, Submittal, Status Updates & Work Performed. • Must Attend and Document internal Project Management meetings, schedule concerns and ensure all action items are updated and completed prior to action deadlines. 

• Retrieve documents and files when requested 

• Various tasks as assigned by Supervisor
